Posted on December 21, 2015 Security Center 0 comments

United Heritage Credit Union urges its members to beware of a potential scam in which members receive an automated call telling them their debit card has been canceled.

The automated call states "The National Credit Association has canceled your current debit card. Please press one to speak with a live representative." A phone number tied to this potential scam is 801.961.9999.

Please note that United Heritage will never call, text or email asking you for your debit or credit card numbers, account number or Social Security number. It is important that you never give out this information to a caller.

If you have any questions regarding activity on your account or need to report fraud, call 512.435.4545903.597.7484 or 800.531.2328.
