NCUA Website Scam Warning
Posted on April 27, 2015
Fake websites have surfaced with a logo and design similar to that of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). These imposter sites attempt to convince consumers to provide their sensitive personal information, such as Social Security Number, or to transfer large amounts of money. It's been reported that consumers have also received emails from the "National Credit Union" website, which is not affiliated in any way with the NCUA. The NCUA warns all credit union members to be on the lookout for bogus websites and emails posing as the federal agency.

Protect Your Router
Posted on February 27, 2015
In order to steal personal information, like Online Banking credentials, scammers are now sending emails including links that change the settings on your internet router if clicked. Attacks such as this often bypass antivirus software, so the security breach can go undetected for a long period of time. It is recommended you update the username and password on your wired or wireless router often as a safety precaution.
