Your Choice: Don't lose access to your debit card courtesy pay.

Due to regulatory changes made by the Federal Reserve to Regulation E or "Reg E," United Heritage will not be able to cover overdrafts on everyday debit card transactions unless you request the protection. Everyday transactions include one-time purchases made using your debit card at merchants such as gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, online and by phone.

Save yourself the hassle and embarrassment of having your debit card declined and opt-in to Courtesy Pay Protection for your debit card. There is no charge for signing up for this service. If you need to take advantage of this service and United Heritage covers an overdrawn transaction then our standard overdraft fee of $34 will be assessed. Opt-in for Courtesy Pay Protection and have peace of mind in knowing it is there when you need it and only if you need it.

Existing Accounts: Please note that as of August 15, 2010, if you do not opt-in to Courtesy Pay Protection, your everyday debit card transactions will be declined if there is not enough money in your checking account to cover your expenses.

New Accounts: For accounts that are opened on or after July 1, 2010, United Heritage will no longer be able to approve your everyday debit card transactions if there are insufficient funds in your account unless you opt-in. Courtesy Pay Protection is a valuable and convenient service that's available when you need it most.
