United Heritage Named as 2012 Top Workplace
United Heritage Credit Union has been named as a 2012 Top Workplace in the greater Austin area, according to an employee survey project sponsored by the Austin-American Statesman and WorkplaceDynamics, a Pennsylvania-based employee engagement research firm. This marks the third consecutive year United Heritage has been awarded the Top Workplace honor.

Team United Heritage Committed To Credit Union Philosophy of "People Helping People"
A group of employees from United Heritage Credit Union, known as Team United Heritage, has successfully completed its inaugural year of providing man-power and monetary support to organizations within their local communities. Team United Heritage has donated a total of 749.5 hours of their free-time as well as $8,683 in much needed funds to 21 local charities and organizations throughout the Greater Austin and Tyler areas, since its beginning in July of 2011.

$10,000 Awarded to 2012 United Heritage Community Scholarship Recipients
United Heritage Charity Foundation awards Kristin Young from Rouse High School and Christina Moten-Johnson from Eastside Memorial High School with $5,000 scholarships for their continued education. More than $50,000 in scholarships have been awarded and 15 scholarship recipients honored over the 12-year scholarship history. In announcing the two 2012 recipients, the United Heritage Community Scholarship Committee continues its mission to help grow and support accomplished service-oriented young people with a strong focus on higher education.

Winner of Second Annual United Heritage Charity Foundation Auto Raffle Announced
Sandy King of Llano, Texas is the new owner of a 2012 Honda Civic LX Sedan after being drawn as the winner of the United Heritage Charity Foundation Auto Raffle on Friday, June 1, 2012. Through ticket sales, the Charity Foundation raised $47,865, which will be distributed to deserving local charities and organizations the Foundation supports.

Lonny Poe of Dripping Springs, Texas, United Heritage Credit Union member since 2006, is the lucky new owner of a 2011 Honda Civic LX Sedan after winning the United Heritage Charity Foundation Auto Raffle on July 6, 2011. Through ticket sales, the Charity Foundation raised $39,989 that will be distributed to the many local charitable organizations and projects the Charity Foundation supports.

United Heritage Credit Union selected Katie Love ofLeander as the 2011 recipient of the Leroy Hiller Memorial Scholarship. The Scholarship Committee considered dozens of applications across the state, and has selected the Cedar Park High School senior as its thirteenth scholarship recipient.
