Team United Heritage
United Heritage Credit Union is fortunate that our employees find value in working to improve the Central and East Texas communities in which they live and work. It is this shared motivation that leads many staff members to join Team United Heritage, a group of Credit Union employees that regularly volunteers their time and resources to support a variety of local charitable organizations and initiatives. Internet Explorer Browser Support Ending
Microsoft announced earlier this year that they plan to end support for most versions of Internet Explorer (IE) in January 2020. Prior to this, support for IE 10 and older ended 1.12.16. What does this mean for UHCU members? Read the full post for details and information to prepare for the updates.

2023 Donation Drive
We are excited to announce that UHCU is hosting a Donation Drive to benefit Heroes Night Out, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing resources and services to local Veterans, Service Members, and their families. We are accepting monetary donations through Venmo to help provide gifts and essentials for those families in need this holiday season. 100% of proceeds will be paid directly to Heroes Night Out.

2023 School Supply Drive
United Heritage Credit Union (UHCU) recently donated a variety of school supplies, including backpacks, binders, markers, and folders, to two charitable organizations in Central and East Texas: SAFE and PATH. The donation of 2,500 items marked the success of UHCU's 2023 School Supply Drive.

Back-to-school is just around the corner, and that means it's time to start thinking about school supplies. But for many families, the cost of school supplies can be a financial burden. That's why United Heritage Credit Union is hosting a School Supply Drive.
From July 24 to August 5, UHCU will be collecting backpacks and school supplies at all branch locations. We are accepting a variety of items, including backpacks, binders, pencils, notebooks, and more.

We are excited to announce that for the month of April, United Heritage will be supporting PATH as its Diaper Drive sponsor of the month! The United Heritage Charity Foundation has been working with PATH, a local Tyler, Texas non-profit organization, as its donation partner. PATH’s annual event helps to empower East Texas citizens and gives them the resources they and their babies need. 2023 Teacher Wishlist Giveaway
United Heritage Credit Union and its Charity Foundation directly supported local teachers within Texas to ease the burden of costs teachers pay out of their own pockets. Focusing on education is critical, and that is why United Heritage hosted a Teacher Wishlist Giveaway. Through the giveaway, 80 Texas teachers received up to $250 in items from their wishlist. That is a total of $20,000 worth of free school supplies given to teachers in local school districts.

United Heritage Charity Foundation Donates $20,000 to Local Military and Their Families for the Holidays
United Heritage Credit Union and its Charity Foundation have partnered with Heroes Night Out, a local non-profit dedicated to supporting active military, veterans, and their families. United Heritage donated $12,000 toward Heroes Night Out's Christmas initiative by purchasing wish list items and gift cards for military families. Through the Charity Foundation's partnership with Heroes Night Out, the group gave an additional donation of $8,000 to go towards a women's event being planned for 2024, totaling $20,000 altogether.
