If you’re a current member of United Heritage, or if your Corporation, Sole Proprietorship, Limited Liability Company or Partnership is located in Travis, Williamson, Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Smith or Wood counties, your business is eligible.

When you become a member of United Heritage Credit Union, you’re a member for life. Even if your business moves, you can continue to enjoy the services and features we have to offer. To open a business account, fill out a Business Membership Application and bring the appropriate paper work to a branch near you.

Required Paperwork

Sole Proprietor

  • Assumed Name Certificate–issued by the County Courthouse where the business is located
  • TIN–Tax Identification Number issued by the IRS such as Social Security Number or Employer Identification Number, whichever is utilized for entity
  • Acceptable ID and Social Security Number for owner and all account signers
  • Physical address of principal place of business and, if different, a mailing address
  • Resolution for handling of account–provided by Credit Union

Corporation

  • Certificate of Incorporation–issued by the Secretary of State
  • Foreign Corporations file Certificate of Authority–if foreign, need Certificate
  • Assumed Name Certificate–if operating under an assumed name
  • TIN–Tax Identification Number issued by the IRS such as the Employer Identification Number for the corporation (No SSN's)
  • Acceptable ID and Social Security Number for all signers
  • Physical address of principal place of business and, if different, a mailing address
  • Corporate Resolution for handling of account–provided by Credit Union

 Limited Partnership

  • Certificate of Limited Partnership–issued by the Secretary of State
  • Partnership Agreement that was filed with the Secretary of State
  • Foreign limited partnerships file registration with Secretary of State–if foreign, need registration documentation
  • Assumed Name Certificate–if operating under an assumed name
  • TIN–Tax Identification Number issued by the IRS such as the Employer Identification Number for the LP (No SSN's)
  • Acceptable ID and Social Security Number for all account signers
  • Physical address of place of business and, if different, a mailing address
  • Resolution for handling of account–provided by Credit Union

General Partnership

  • Partnership Agreement (if available)
  • Assumed Name Certificate–if operating under an assumed name
  • TIN–Tax Identification Number issued by the IRS such as the Employer Identification Number for the partnership (No SSN's)
  • Acceptable ID and Social Security Number for all account signers
  • Physical address of place of business and, if different, a mailing address
  • Resolution for handling of account–provided by Credit Union

Limited Liability Partnership

  • Partnership Agreement (if available)
  • Limited Liability Partnership Registry
  • Foreign LLP's file registration with the Secretary of State's–if foreign, need registration documentation
  • Assumed Name Certificate–if operating under an assumed name
  • TIN–Tax Identification Number issued by the IRS such as the Employer Identification Number for the partnership (No SSN's)
  • Acceptable ID and Social Security Number for all account signers
  • Physical address of principal place of business and, if different, a mailing address
  • Resolution for handling of account–provided by Credit Union

Limited Liability Company

  • Certificate of Organization–issued by the Secretary of State
  • Articles of Organization–filed with Secretary of State
  • Foreign LLC's file Certificate of Authority issued by Secretary of State– if foreign, need Certificate
  • Assumed Name Certificate–if operating under an assumed name
  • TIN–Tax Identification Number issued by the IRS such as the Employer Identification Number for the LLC (No SSN's)
  • Acceptable ID and Social Security Number for all account signers
  • Physical address of principal place of business and, if different, a mailing address
  • Resolution for handling of account–provided by Credit Union

 Unincorporated Non-Profit Association

  • Charter, By-laws or Letter of Purpose
  • Minutes or letter from President authorizing the establishment of the account and respective signers
  • TIN–Tax Identification Number issued by the IRS such as the Employer Identification Number for the association (No SSN's)
  • Acceptable ID and Social Security Number for all account signers
  • Physical address of principal place of business and, if different, a mailing address
  • Resolution for handling of account–provided by Credit Union
