United Heritage Credit Union (UHCU) is proud to announce a $20,000 donation to PATH, made possible through participation in the Elan Charitable Giving Program. UHCU contributed $10,000 to PATH, matching Elan Financial Services’ $10,000 donation, doubling the impact for the local nonprofit and further supporting critical community services.
PATH was selected by UHCU as this year’s recipient in alignment with the credit union’s ongoing commitment to supporting organizations that create stability and opportunity within the communities it serves."At United Heritage Credit Union, giving back is a core part of who we are,” said Chelsea Schrimpf, AVP of Marketing and a member of UHCU’s Charity Foundation Board. “Partnering with Elan to deliver a combined $20,000 donation to PATH allows us to amplify our impact and support the important work they do every day for our neighbors."
Elan recently announced the expansion of its charitable giving program, delivering $250,000 in total donations to 25 nonprofit organizations nationwide. Each $10,000 contribution was made on behalf of a participating credit union or community bank partner, reinforcing a shared commitment to strengthening the communities they serve.
"Our credit card partners are deeply connected to their communities,” said Peter Klukken, SVP, Head of Elan Financial Services. “By aligning our charitable investments with their local priorities, we’re helping extend their reach and deepen relationships with the card members we both serve.”
This year’s program includes 20 credit unions and five community banks, each selecting a local nonprofit organization to receive a donation. Beneficiaries range from food pantries and neighborhood centers to youth programs and animal welfare organizations, underscoring the program’s flexibility and community-focused approach.
