United Heritage Credit Union Donates Over $30,000 to Help Fight Food Insecurity Across Texas

At United Heritage Credit Union, strengthening the communities we serve is at the heart of what we do. Through the combined support of our members, employees, and community partners, UHCU is proud to donate over $30,000 to help fight food insecurity across Texas.

A total of $15,660 was donated to the East Texas Food Bank, and $18,232.50 was donated to the Central Texas Food Bank. These funds were raised through UHCU’s Banking for a Cause initiatives, hot cocoa kit sales, and purchases from our external brand store apparel.

Food insecurity impacts families across every region of Texas. Rising costs and unexpected challenges can make it difficult for individuals and families to consistently access nutritious meals. By partnering with trusted local food banks, UHCU is helping ensure neighbors have access to the resources they need.

These donations reflect UHCU’s ongoing commitment to meaningful community investment across both Central and East Texas. Together, we’re helping nourish our neighbors and build stronger communities throughout the state.
