United Heritage Credit Union Hosts Successful Gears & Giving Community Car Show at Dell Diamond

United Heritage Credit Union (UHCU) welcomed the community to Dell Diamond on Saturday, May 9 for the inaugural Gears & Giving event, a family-friendly car show benefiting the United Heritage Charity Foundation. The event brought together car enthusiasts, local families, vendors, and community partners for a day centered around community connection and giving back.

The event featured a showcase of classic, custom, exotic, and performance vehicles, along with live entertainment, food vendors, children’s activities, and interactive experiences for attendees of all ages. Bringing together car enthusiasts, families, and supporters from communities throughout Central Texas, the event helped raise $25,000 for the United Heritage Charity Foundation.

"Gears & Giving was created to bring the community together around a shared passion while supporting an important cause,” said Matthew Lyman, Chief Lending Officer of UHCU. “We are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, sponsored, volunteered, and participated in making the event such a success.”

Proceeds from the event will support the United Heritage Charity Foundation’s mission of giving back to local communities through charitable initiatives and community support programs, with focuses on family support services, healthcare, military & veteran assistance, animals & pets and more.
