The recent floods have brought unprecedented challenges to many families in our community, and our hearts go out to everyone affected. At UHCU, we believe in the power of people helping people, and now, more than ever, our neighbors need our support.
That's why we're organizing a Flood Relief Donation Drive to collect essential items and monetary contributions to aid those recovering from the devastation. We're partnering with Austin Disaster Relief Network to ensure all donations directly reach those in need.
Here's how you can help
We are collecting the following new, unused items at all Austin-area branch locations:
- Travel-size shampoo & conditioner
- Bar soap or travel-size body wash
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Disposable razors
- Hand sanitizer wipes
- Laundry detergent (small bottles or pods)
- Dish soap
- Disinfectant wipes or spray
- Heavy duty trash bags
- Paper towels
- Sponges or scrub brushes
- Gallon size freezer bags
- Quart size freezer bags
- New socks (all sizes)
- Disposable ponchos
- Towels (bath or hand)
- Blankets
