Discover the UHCU Red Poppy Railroad Micro-Branch

United Heritage Credit Union is proud to debut its first-ever micro-branch, located within the Red Poppy Garden Railroad in Sun City Georgetown.

Accessible only through the miniature railroad display behind Mulligan’s Restaurant, the tiny branch adds a fun and interactive element to the exhibit. Visitors can spot the branch within the layout and press a button to activate sound effects and motion, creating a memorable hands-on moment for guests of all ages.

A Miniature Georgetown

The Red Poppy Garden Railroad is a large-scale model railroad featuring detailed replicas of Georgetown landmarks, including the Williamson County Courthouse and buildings surrounding the historic Square.
Interactive scenes throughout the display bring the railroad to life, from a working drive-in theater and lumber mill to a baseball stadium, RV park, and even an Elvis concert.

Built by the Community

The railroad was created through a collaborative effort among Sun City charter clubs and hundreds of volunteer hours. The UHCU micro-branch was designed and built with the Radio Control Modelers club, adding another creative feature to this unique community attraction.
